But..., all things considered, buy it!

But then what do WE, the Government, do with it?

O dear? Here's another vision from Omaxy......

Right time to redesign our feudal “States” system.

Ecological “Middle-Government” regions and boundaries.

Another lookie at inland Australia, and the possibility of that old chestnut, the Inland City, turns our heads again, and makes the detritus of cynicism laugh.

Drought being manmade, becomes both avoidable and reversible. Omaxy in Optimism-mode.

Cubbie is in sparse country, no doubt, exacerbated by whitey's rape of the terrain. Trees, mainly, although out there, pre-invasion, trees were pretty sparse already.

But Cubbie, of 93,000 hectares, the national HOG of water, also sits atop the Darling River system, so, pretty-much everything it does has a bearing on the rest of the huge Darling-and-other-rivers basin.

So, if it is so influential, it may stand to reason to plonk the Inland City there, so that it, properly constructed, can ensure right practices and use of the resources, from the top, if-I-may, all the way to Adelaide?

China builds cities by the hour it seems, and I hear they are doing their Best to make them Environmentally Sustainable.

Longest forecasts might suggest the region, ie., wherever there's a patch of dirt, good, bad or otherwise, but here, near Dirranbandi, any well-built city would one day hold up to 10 million people. I run from any city over about 500, believing they are possessed of evil.

It may, again, in most Optimistic mode, make sense for WE, the Government, to cater for such future eventuations, if only in researching the options, amidst the REAL AND PRESENT, URGENT needs.

But let's start with a plan for about 500,000, in say, 100 years.

And, of course, therefore, we integrate planning for “ever forward” into the hazy future, so that our race, nation, in 500, or 2000 years, will not have to reappraise the failings of a badly designed city, region, nation, planet.

Hoho...

Waiting for the Indonesians and Chinese to invade and then just go about whacking a bunch of badly thought-out cities across the continent, is typical of the lower mentations of our species.

Inviting them, is the logical path.

Nevertheless, whether it's Indians, Chinese, Indonesians or aliens, Australia's being the last bit of under-populated real estate on Earth, makes it obvious that, precluding global axial wobbles and REALBAD socio-enviro-collapse, the country will be populated, peacefully, or by plunder, just as the IMF have been doing to it/us for 221 years, until these kinds of “visions” or predictions, or mere observations, evolve or come-about.

If my derogatory slaps of our shiny PM Rudd are unjustified, it will be because he, and THE PARTY, but better, THE NATION, have the Strength and Wisdom to get-up and at least investigate these suggestions.

As it's my role to go to the issues the Vatican has deemed only Jesus can talk about, I'll throw the extreme tangential arrow into the basket of saying that ATC, WE must first assess the veracity in today's state, of large cities, and see if there's a more sustainable way to habitate.

My old rant has been for lots and lots of luvely little villages, etc, with serious doses of anti-city slurry thrown in. All of it, I ASSERT, is Right and Justified, but the momentum of modern society has created such a current no man can swim against and keep head up enough to win the argument.

Citiphiles are galaxies away from what I see, and from where I look.

Fuck 'em!

Is it, therefore, the Right time to redesign our feudal “States” system? Are Ecological “Middle-Government” cities, regions' and “States'” boundaries, the way through the future?

Lay-lines? Aboriginal Sacred Places? Aboriginal Ways of being in Balance with “Country”?

River science? Agri-science? Demographics 20 years, 100 years, 5000 years ahead?

“We have the technology!”

Do WE, Opportune Ourselves of the Wisdom WE, the whole of Humanity, Need to use it all RIGHT?

If the current federal government AND OPPOSITION, cannot go beyond planning for the next election, the next ten or so years of ALP-type or LIBERAL-type government, then...., they are, all softcocks. We may as well string-'em-up now.

So, Cubbie Station, Capital of the Regional State of “Inland Rivers”, spanning all of the old western New South Wales and eastern South Australia, wherever it's feed-supply of water flows.

Fear springs-up! What about when that city becomes tyrannically run, by corrupt megalomaniacs?
They would be able to control the supply of water to all western NSW AND ADELAIDE!?

TRILLIONS COULD DIE OF THIRST!!!

O, better we leave it the way it is, then?

Doing the Maths, “New South Wales” as an authority, as an instrument of maintaining a Healthy World, is about as beneficial to “Country” thus to WE, The People, as a planetary axial wobble. It just rolls-us over a lot slower. In the end, the land and it's occupants will be Soul-less wrecks, decimated in numbers, white and bleck, if the thing we loosely call the “NSW parliament”, and it's partner in crime - capitalism - are left to run their course in the next election-cycle, but by more than will be endurable over the next decades.

Any impartial consideration of the whole system we have here, of three tiers of government, will easily conclude it has run-it's-course, and for everyone's sake, must be dissolved, like the Lismore Magistrate's Court.

Logic, perhaps Intellect, or Wisey, tells me that perhaps MORE “States” are called for, but reduced to suit either population, density-demographic, terrain-type, rivers, etc., being actually..., “absorbed” into restructured Councils?

O 520 Aborigine Nations!

Super Councils? It makes many shudder. However..., rather than retreat expecting corruption to accompany CHANGE in such as these directions, enter the lawyers. For it's they who will, for some of them are Strong and Righteous, sort through the superficial flops and divine that it is a case of placing Good Law, Scientific Law, Economic Law into place at the top of the tree(s) of governmentation. Laws which are not the elite province of specialist shaman, but that are taught to all, from our earliest learning.

So, this may suggest that three tiers could still work?

Maybe? But it is now more a case of overall environmental sustainability, etc. that is, where roles and thus tasks are duplicated across governing tiers, efficiency rules, I think, in favor of rezoning Councils, with much-changed-read-improved funding and financing, to cover ecologically distinct areas.

Corruption survives because each individual is incapable of stopping it.

Collectively, with a Righteous Army of Lawyers, but Better Again with a Righteous Bench of High Court Judges, and a Strong and Supportive COMMUNEity, Instituting Scientifically Sound, Holy and Impartial Laws is a given.

It's just those fecking Community Meetings, and their practical and egalitarian “FORM A COMMITTEE!” necessities?

What color should we make the city?

LAW! GET LAW RIGHT, so that Everyone KNOWS IT, and the coppers KNOW IT, and Defend It, and corruption won't get a look-in.

I spe-ew that everyone here is rotten with corruption. ATC, it is so.

But this is so because the LAWS have been interfered with.

Cubbie Station could be the catalyst for Australia to “GO THE LAW!” where it is known to be detrimental, and using the concept of a New Day, in Obama's terms, a New City with every reason to make new boundaries, oriented fully around PROPER MANAGEMENT of Australia.

As the Westminster system has cracked a mainshaft, as the environment wants to swallow us, as capitalism has been exposed, though not nearly tried and convicted, of genocide, as I come from Tribes of Humans who did not lie, as millions of us here do, as all of our governmental institutions and clubs are under SERIOUS Scrutiny, and as Cubbie Station is ripe for the picking even at the $450mill price tag, most of which belongs in Aborigine dillybags, and as the above drivvle is full of groovy ideas, it defies all Intelligence that our federal government, would not buy Cubbie Station with above models, types and scenarios in mind for SERIOUS Consideration.
