A Letter to Green Left Weekly

Another blast from Omaxa bin News-Chop.OM of OpenSourceGovernmentPolicy.om, today shooting at the Union movement's "alternative newspaper" Green Left Weekly.



Hi, I used to live, work and play in Melbourne, and fought along side many Demo Socialists and Unionists over the decades.

Kennett's malignant mob drove me out of the state in '98, to Nimbin, where I sought to smoke myself to death.

Damn!

Didn't happen!

Finally, after exposing corruption up there, and in NSW generally, the NSW coppers drove me back to Vic, where I now dwell in the reforests.

Long sick of the mainstream news services, but nevertheless sourcing them for the bits and pieces about our domestic and global political farces, I now write my own "copy", as-it-were, and blog.

Not that you need to, but there's more than a few posts on it, going to how a healthy nation funds government, or, at least, after twenty or thirty years of investigations, how I, and many millions of others perceive the People, the Masses, are best advised to finance government.

Having given time to promoting these scientific conclusions, and winning the hearts and minds of the working and under-classes, more specifically Outlaws and Aborigine, as well as a healthy proportion of genuine Greens, I would have expected that a news organ which calls itself "Green Left" would have discovered the same Economic policies and would, after Balanced and Scientific investigations, established that it was the one to support, as well as Advocate and Promote.

However, for the first time for a few years, after being 'trojaned' last year, thus losing all my internet bookmarks and other media addresses and links, I went/came back to this GLW webpage, and did a quick search for anything relating to Land Tax, and to the Henry Tax Review, as released in December '09.

No hits on Land Tax, and the mentions of the Henry Tax Review made no mention of Ken Henry's recommendation for a "National Land Tax".

If the Green Left cannot express the Wisdom and Environment-friendly aspects of Land Taxation, then where are you/they coming from, "Comrades"?

I guess I've known for a long time that the unions are in bed with most of the multinational corporations which are NOT friends of the Environment, and that most of our Unionists struggle with the deeper Green Issues which it does seem science tells us we MUST confront, but Dudes, Comrades, I'm left suspecting that the "journos" and "reporters" inside the GLW et al, are like the self-interested upper class who have cajoled power in the Green organisations, and who do NOT have interest in saving the Environment before ensuring their own speculative property investments in real estate, usually courtesy of daddies inheritance?

I know many "Greens" are well-to-do uni graduates, who come from the private-school class. But I also know many of you are genuine about your Cause.

But please desist in dishonoring Che Guevara and Fidel Castro Et Al by avoiding the bottomline Economic Issue of Land Tax, and avoiding the fundamental need to Support it, Advocate it, and even go to war against the Labor boffins in Lygon Street to Fight for it, as primary before ALL the other issues GLW addresses?

I guess the ACTU finances GLW.

So where are your allegiances, Comrades?

The Planet. The Sacred Mother Eartha?

Or staid and corrupt "northern", that-is "foreign" political ideologies?

Sorry to put it like this, but those who purport to stand for the Green side of Life, and who report on the issues surrounding the Environment and the Workers, must recognise the crucial importance of Integrity, and of being Honorable.

The hard facts may be that we, white, western "Christians" have trashed the planet beyond saving or repair.

But to sell our Souls out to the mobs who are leading the carnage is weakness of the lowest kind.

Throw what you will back at me for saying this.

Don't take it personally - it's cultural. And, without doubt, most all of our white western culture is deeply mentally ill.

Dissent - Dissent - Dissent, is the only Honorable Path, from here forward.

Sitting on the fence between the necessary Green Reforms to government and a nice-little-earner from the mainstream unions, is "soft", Comrades, especially in this year of state and federal elections, where the polls and the Greens are showing clearly that the Public are ready for Genuine Green Progress in affairs and policies of OUR governments.

To my exiled mind, you guys need to focus on issues like "The Republic", "dissolution of the three tier system of government", "Proportional Representation" and, yes, the "National Land Tax".

As well, of course, the Environment.

I'm sorry that they are the key issues I, mememe, regard as of greatest importance.

Of greatest importance in Australia and, Globally.

Jesus ain't coming back Dudes!

The "old kings" models of the northern hemisphere are dead.
