had the above item on today's pages, which I couldn't help but reply
to, albeit that earlier last week, I renounced any connection to
Aborigine Causes.

Good
Job, mate, on the Indigenous Peoples under threat map, and
accompanying data!
I'm (secretly, as
in mum denies it, for covert reasons?$%%?) descended from the
Gunai/Gurnai/Kurnai Aborigine Peoples of Victoria Australia,.
My Great
GrandParents and their Tribe were wiped-out around 1900, and my Grand
Father and other young children were stolen and grafted into white
families of immigrants, the same who slaughtered my Bleck Fella
Ancestors.
But this is a
typical story for Australian Aborigines.
I note in the
downloaded data sheet no mention or rating of the current plight of
Australia's Indigenous Peoples. Yes, many are getting their acts
together, but many are still treated poorly by all white authorities
and, sadly racism, based on land ownership denials, is still common
across the island-continent, such that the Bleck Fella are corralled
into certain rural or outback regions and towns, but always with a
set of white fellas "ruling", as it were, under white,
imposed standards, perhaps most in housing design etc.
Also, in your
data sheet, there is not even the country name "Australia"
on the list. Again, from afar, we might not appear as suffering
anywhere near the trauma etc, such as the Sudanese, or others from
3rd world regions, nations, etc. But it should not be denied or
ignored, that many, too many of us are under the hammer from severe
and utterly corrupt white laws and authorities.
Sure, certain
white organisations do good work in bringing the Bleck Fellas plight
out in the open, but there remains a criminal denial by the
mainstream, mainly that the Aborigine are in reality, more Human than
the white populations. At least, they were Noble, Dignified, Wise
etc., before the invasions post-1788.
Nevertheless...,
thank you, for putting the global situation "on-the-map" so
to say.
And, to that, if
it is within your personal interests, or The Guardian's "brief",
if the sum-total of information can be quantified, as you are doing
here, then surely, this opens the doors for the possibility for a
global call by the world's Indigenies to Unite and use the power of
the Collective, of the sheer numbers of them/us, worldwide, to
assert, in typically Wise and Peaceful ways, their/our objection to
the draconian and racist maltreatments the essentially "white"
western hegemony of the most powerful sections of the species
continue to inflict upon us, whether here in Astrayliar, or anywhere
on Earth?
If it is within
your personal or paper's "brief"?
Clearly, such
Peoples include the innumerable oppressed, whether in the Americas,
across Africa, including such as in Egypt, by which I mean the whole
population of their kind of "culturally-invaded" nations,
and such.
It wouldn't take
much contemplation on such a proposition, to see how big an issue
this is. For the dominant paradigm of western influences, for good
and for ill, have pervaded all corners, and, again, for good and for
ill, influence, but more often, undermine local culture, to
destructive degrees unconscionable.
Opens very very
wide doors, aye?
From my
long-Meditated-upon point-of-view, this, and all Indigenous concerns,
challenge directly, the deeply flawed, ideological "centrist"
dogma of the west, perhaps centred in the Roman, Catholic
expansionism of the last 2000 years.
Further and
deeper to this, we arrive at questioning, with cultural,
philosophical, sociological and psychological evidence, if not facts,
the veracity, and thus the dangers, of the whole notion of
"Christianity" and it's proposition that one person (or
indeed, that one god!?) is the supreme authority and thus manager of
all of Humanity.
I think you will
find, that none of the True Indigenous cultures, held anything near
to that notion, and that none of the non-whites of today, who have
any handle on their Ancestors Traditions and Wisdom, really believe
in the messiah syndrome, or idea.
So, might I apply
the adage "Think Global, Act Local" to this, and
assert that for any of us to find our Peace and Freedom, we must have
Local Autonomy, over the dominant global forces which have sought to
control us. Control, purely, in truth, for their own selfish, and
thus psychotic, "superiorist", materialistic advantage.
Seeing that you
are employed with the unquestionably Virtuous "The Guardian"
newspaper, I feel certain you are not stuck in any "Rule
Britannia" ideology, thus recognise also, Britain's part in the
diminution of all the world's "Noble Savages", we Bleck
Fellas.
Therefore, I
believe it would not be beyond you, and the Guardian, Et Al, to
embrace some "mission" (sorry?) of "Conciliation"
between the white invaders, and all those they have persistently
undermined over say, the last 500 years?
At least,
something of an attempt to restore the Local Traditions, be it in
Wales, or New South Wales.
But, of course,
more than in some token gesture.
Rather, in
bringing to light the flaws and threats inherent in the imposed laws,
customs and economic standards of the clearly deeply awry white,
western structure, the perennial Wisdoms, Laws and Traditions of the
Indigenies' Ways, and the meeting of minds within and between the
two, such that a new Collective Order, might be Democratically
formed, upon which the world (now more than it has for at least 500
years, including the Bleck Fellas, Brown, Yellow, Et Al Fellas), can
expunge the glitches and worst mistakes, the dominant paradigm has
draped over us all, and "move forward" with some certainty,
into the future, based on solid fundamentals, as-they-say?
