'Buyers' Strike' goes Viral!
(www.smh.com.au 30/03/11)
At some stage, the idea, of house-buyers going on strike 'went viral' as-they-say in internet terms, in PROTEST against the disgustingly high house-and-land prices all Australians suffer because of.
The article attracted an huge response on the smh website, and probably elsewhere, so, as it's Duty, I threw in my farthing's worth.
Here 'tis....
If the skeptical commenters and ever-so-smart cynics on this 'different' idea of a 'buyers' strike' did their math, aided with sincere research, and inquired into the actual SCIENCE of Economics, as opposed to the mainstream (UN-)economic BLAH of our times, they would find beyond doubt, beyond deliberate right wing landocratic spin, that Prosper and what they Advocate, is the most accurate and unambiguous assessment of the, and indeed, of ALL 'property crisis'/'crises'.
Property crises caused initially by extremely inequitable-nay-disgustingly unjust land distribution laws, which can be dated back to 26th January 1808, and to one of our finest tyrants - Sergeant John MacArthur, who broke the early edicts by going 'beyond the pale'.
Whether or not the 'buyer's strike' becomes effective, it has, as witnessed by it making to the Sydney Morning Herald's news pages, brought the underlying issue we are all economically and culturally constrained by - bad land laws - into the mainstream spotlight.
All Strength to Prosper, and to GetUp for taking it on! And, Bravo! SMH!
