A fine segment on corruption in sport, ABC Radio National's “Sunday Profile”!

Fair that it is that radio interviews really don't ascribe blame to persons or interviewees, it has to be said that, as a comment in Sunday Profile, “all the major sports, and their representatives, are rotten with corruption”.

And have they not always been?

The upcoming Commonwealth Games in New Delhi, India no less.

Because of the massive theft of patrons' money for tickets, and the massive theft of the homes of the poor of the cities where the events are held, and often the debts which each host nation accrue, no moral person, sport-lover or not, can condone the scurrilous antics of the major sports' leagues and federations.

Corruption is the dominant force in Australia and across the world today (which should be admitted by our ABC media!), and as most all sports-folk who climb to represent their countries come from the upper echelons of their societies, almost always today, educated in the church schools, it's clear that bigtime sport today is but a means for the upper crust to profit MORE from the lower classes who seek escape from the daily-drudge of slavery for the OH! upclubsters from the cult corporations.

Perhaps a bit of Rough Justice will put things back into realistic perspective in New Delhi this month, if the opponents to the filth of western hegemony do their Jihadi thing and rock the Delhi Games?

More than a few Lower-Class Thinkers of the world will agree I'm sure!
