My comments, from the retirement desk..:

Cameron panics.

And away we goooo!

Obviously, the new King-maker on the Westminsterial block, Nick Clegg, cannot dily-daly too long, as there seem to be important fings to consider - like the management of the “nation” of Britain.

This, of course, would be the fing the Tories would claim must come first, rather than have Lib-Dems' Cleggy hold out, that is.., put some SERIOUS contemplative moments, and hold other-parties discussions, into deciding which side of the drinks-cabinet he/they should align with.

Interesting that Mista Brown has chosen to fall on his letter-opener, in a few months - a few months is a lo-ong time in politrix - ?

Is he conceding that HE DID have something to do with the flagrant misuse of resources and funds and every other fing, by the UK's parent company - the IMF?

Going by the usual afterlives of politicians, he's likely been offered a cushy little numba with an IMF bank, or insurance corp, or..., weapons manufacturer, so taking the razor to himself is as likely, merely a change of office?

Well..., sorry Gordy, just being a bit liberal wiff my keys.

As a Labour/Lib-Dem government would still be a little short of the necessaries, because of the minors - independents and THE Green, Et Al, one hopes that Cleggy is 'avin'-a-chat wiff the smallest fish as well.

Seems logical, not discounting the Tories completely here, to bring as many of the other Reps into the big-fishbowl with, or seeking, some sort of consensus.

As the Conservatives, are..., conservative, it is a danger that any alliance between the LDP and the Tories would stagnate LDP's key Motivator, of Reforms, again, the PR voting structure, and others, perhaps of a more Green nature.

Cameron's submission to holding s referendum on changing the voting system seems to me - is clearly - a forced concession, indistinct and deliberately falling on the side of the extreme right of his castled mobs, fearing a revolt within his own, should he show he and his advisors are desperately conceding to NOT THE LIBERALS?!, demands.

But that, at this ticklish stage in British politrix, where everyone is most driven to “...put the national interest first...”, does not rule out Cleggy bringing the Tories into the camp, as well.

As - I'd hazard a guess - most of the small reps and their wee-parties want Reforms - PR surely must be one shared by all of them - and others, I'd hope of a Greening shade (a DEEEEEEP Greening) as well, if-not-primary, the LDP would seem foolish-indeed-insane to not parlay with the small fish, to sure-up and strengthen any minority government, on the assumption that the Tories would be, would remain, too conservative and endanger any attempts at the SERIOUS Reforms the country and the parliamentary system needs, were the LDP to choose the Tories.

Again, I scribble that Cleggy is thrust into a very interesting position here, one of quite some “influence” if not power.

(But please note, that using Nick Clegg, or his name, as THE Man-in-the-spotlight, is a might inaccurate, as I do not believe it's at all right to be zooming in on any one individual. This is "messianism" which is NOT Democracy at work, and, in the end, is more dangerous for the "nation" than most realise, ESPECIALLY Kkristians! My referring to "Cleggy", is mainly because the media usually puts the focus on the leaders. This, also has the negative effect of 'defocusing' away from the REALITY, that every 'leader' is there purely because they have a huge, talented and dedicated Team behind them, doing often 110% of most leaders' apparent work.)

to continue....

As well, as said, there is reasonable pressure to keep the machinery moving/operating, so decisions should not be labored-er-dragged-out.

However, with what is possible - "Reforms-big-R" - haste could well be the worst course to take.

Therefore, expect more pressure from the right.

So I'd say, keep Cameron at ease, by not pushing him and the Tories away - tripartitism should be allowed to float and not discounted, but yes, I remain, an extremist with a deep sense of “The Dreaming” perhaps a la the Spirituality of Our Australian Aborigines, who, by the way, were the “Nations”, about 520 of 'em, who sorted democracy and kept it, for thousands of years, generally Peacefully, Wisely and Happily, ''til 1788.

But tripartitism means nothing really, because the LDP would be mad to stay within the chat-lines of Labour and the Tories alone.

So, to keep government governing, it might, from the fringes downheredownunder, be Wise to enable Labour and Coy to conduct the business, while the talks continue outside the Houses. Gordon Brown's few months “'afore ye goo” suits this.

But, as LDP has the call, even against Cameron's protestations, which his mob are infamous for, for turning into wars, calling-in the minors, as a short term shoring-up while “negotiations” continue, so-as to silence the Tories humbug, seems pragmatic, logical, and mayhap - Wise.., IF WE WANT REFORM?

Everyone outside the two majors, there in Westminster especially, but right across Britain, whether the bloke who scored 58 votes for his “Land Whatsit Party” (NEVER SAY DIE, BROTHER!), the Greens Candidate in “EnBrightonment” (!), Independents, and small parties, are advised, even while it may be that we, Collectively, are passed the not-long-passed era of “suspicious accidents” and untimely deaths of key, and not-so-key players, to “keep-your-guards-up”.

I haven't a clue as to “where” the UK “militia” are nowadays. Perhaps they have come to their senses, and have moved beyond that partisan rubbish.

But while the outcome is undecided in Britain, DON'T jump on a plane to anywhere, DON'T drink too much, DON'T be too chatty, DON'T party wiff strangers, and DON'T even go riding your bicycles, etc etc etc.

And DON'T let anyone you're not married to or partnered with, seduce you!

If you're 'avin' an affair wiff a Tory or Labour politician or their secretary - END IT!

Get it Right, Britain! And all the Very Best.

And..., when you gonna start making BSA A10 Road Rockets again???

Luvvv-leeee, aye Don?

BSA? Best Sicle Around, maaayte!
